Similar to layered cabbage, recipe from my grandmother from Braunschweig

Shred the white cabbage or finely slice it using a slicer for bread, sausage, etc. Add vegetable oil to the pot, covering the bottom, and heat. Then add the white cabbage. Season the minced meat generously with salt and pepper and crumble it into the meatballs, roughly the size of meatballs. Then pour in about 1/4 liter of broth, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for about 1 hour. Season with nutmeg about halfway through. Serve with boiled potatoes.
