Mango yogurt mousse

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 2 can/n mango(s), drained
  • 150 g yogurt
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • Sugar to taste
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 200 g whipped cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pack of gelatin (instant gelatin)
  • Powdered sugar with vanilla

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

First, I placed the mango in a sieve and let it drain. I cut one half into small cubes and set aside. I finely pureed the other half with vanilla sugar, regular sugar, yogurt, and the juice of half a lemon. I whipped the cream until stiff peaks formed. Then I stirred the sour cream until creamy and mixed it with the mango cream and the instant gelatin. If you prefer it a little fruitier, you can add the remaining lemon juice to adjust the acidity to your liking. Finally, I folded in the cream and mango pieces. The whole thing is refrigerated for at least 1 hour. To serve, I draped the dumplings on the plate and dusted them with vanilla icing sugar (I made myself).
