- 4 large potatoes, floury
- Salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven. Wash, scrub, and dry the potatoes. Halve each potato horizontally. Place the potato halves flat-side up on the oven rack—they shouldn’t touch each other. Sprinkle the cut surfaces evenly with salt. Place the potatoes on the middle rack of the preheated oven. The salt will melt first, then a skin will form that will bubble after 15-20 minutes. After this process, the potatoes should remain in the oven for another 5 minutes.
