Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g minced lamb
  • 200 g minced beef
  • 3 tbsp red wine
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp thyme, freshly chopped
  • 2 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic cloves. Mix both with the minced meat and red wine. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme and knead into a smooth dough. Form the mixture into about 15 small meatballs. Brush the rolls with oil. Grill the rolls until golden brown or fry them in a pan. Serve with rice or French fries. Alternatively, simply serve with ajvar as a dip. For 4 servings, each serving has 275 kcal.
