Plum and yogurt ice cream for the ice cream maker

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 300 ml plums or mirabelle plums, pureed
  • 150 g natural yogurt, approx. 3.5%
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 15 ml lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

You can use plums or mirabelle plums for this recipe. Pit the plums and puree them. You should get about 300 ml of puree. Mix the puree well with natural yogurt, powdered sugar, and lemon juice. Chill this mixture in the ice cream maker using the “cream ice cream” setting for 45-60 minutes. Finely chopped plum and/or mirabelle plum slices with vanilla sauce make an excellent garnish.
