Asian Fried Noodles

The perfect asian fried noodles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Mie noodles
  • 0,5 tsp Salt
  • 0,5 tsp Ground turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 175 g Pork tenderloin
  • 150 g Turkey steak
  • 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup Manis
  • 1 tbsp Sweet and sour plum sauce
  • 2 tbsp Peanut oil
  • 180 g Mongoose seedlings
  • 150 g 1 rote Paprika / geputzt
  • 100 g 1 Zwiebel
  • 75 g 1 Möhre
  • 50 g 2 Frühlingszwiebeln
  • 15 g 1 Stück Ingwer / geschält
  • 5 g 1 Knoblauchzehe / geschält
  • 15 g 1 rote Chilischote / geputzt
  • 1 tbsp Light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Ketchup Manis
  • 1 tbsp Sweet and sour plum sauce

  1. Bring Mie noodle (125 g) to boil in salted water (½ teaspoon salt) ground with turmeric (½ teaspoon), turn off the stove and let the noodles cook for approx. 7 – 8 minutes. Drain through a kitchen sieve, return to the hot saucepan and toss with sunflower oil (1 tbsp) to prevent them from sticking together. Cut pork fillet and turkey steak into strips and marinate with light soy sauce (1 tbsp), dark soy sauce (1 tbsp), sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp) and sweet and sour plum sauce (1 tbsp) for about 20 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the vegetables. To do this, wash the mongoose seedlings and let them drain well. Clean and wash the peppers and cut into strips. Peel the onion, cut in half, cut into slices and pull apart in strips. Peel the carrot with the peeler, cut in half and first into long slices and then into strips. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut diagonally into rings. Peel and finely dice the ginger and clove of garlic. Clean / core the chilli pepper, wash and finely dice. Heat the wok, add peanut oil (2 tbsp), heat and add the marinated meat strips, fry vigorously / stir-fry and slide to the edge of the wok. Now add the vegetables one after the other (garlic clove cubes + ginger cubes + chilli pepper cubes, onion strips, carrot strips and paprika strips + spring onion rings + mongoose seedlings) and fry / stir-fry. Season with light soy sauce (1 tbsp), dark soy sauce (1 tbsp), sweet soy sauce (1 tbsp) and sweet and sour plum sauce (1 tbsp). Finally fold in / fry the prepared Mie noodles. Serve Asian fried noodles. Serve with sweet and sour plum sauce.
