Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 150 ml milk
  • 2 ½ tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp dry yeast
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 150 ml yogurt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

Combine the milk with 1/2 tablespoon of sugar and the yeast and let it rest for 20 minutes until small gas bubbles form. Mix all ingredients together, knead thoroughly, and let the dough rest for 1 hour. Then knead the dough again, divide into 4 portions, toss in a little oil, and roll out. Prick the formed flatbread several times with a fork. Bake on both sides in a hot pan without adding any additional fat.
