Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 3 cans of white beans in their own juice
- ½ bag of bacon, diced
- 3 onions, diced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 bottle of ketchup
- 2 Cabanossi, sliced
- Thyme
- Herbs of Provence
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Heat the diced onions with the oil in a pan. Add the bacon and let it sizzle for a while. Then set aside. In a large soup pot, add the beans and their broth, bay leaves, and spices, and simmer over medium heat. Add a little water depending on the thickness, stirring occasionally. When the beans are creamy (after about 20 minutes), add all the other ingredients. First, add the bacon and onions, then the ketchup, then the sliced Cabanossi. Continue simmering gently for about 15 minutes, then add the sour cream and stir well. Serve with baguette or white bread.
