Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 350 g pork fillet(s)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 40 minutes

Cut the pork fillet lengthwise into approximately 2 cm wide strips. Mix the soy, chili, hoisin, and oyster sauces with the sesame oil and sugar. Marinate the pork fillet strips in this mixture for 6 hours. Place the pork fillet strips in an ovenproof dish and mix the remaining marinade with the honey. Place the meat in the oven at 200°C for 15 minutes. Turn the fillet strips over, brush with the remaining marinade, and return to the oven for another 10 minutes. Turn over again, brush with the marinade again, and return to the oven for another 5 minutes. Remove the meat from the dish, strain the sauce, allow to reduce further if necessary, and serve.
