Tater Tots Casserole

Blanch the fresh green beans in boiling salted water for about 3 minutes. Drain and refresh with ice-cold water. Drain well in a colander. Grate the cheese. In a pan, brown the onions in oil over medium heat. Then add the ground beef and fry. Season with salt, nutmeg, and pepper. Add the mushrooms and cream and spread everything in a baking dish. Add the green beans and corn and sprinkle with the cheese. Finally, place the croquettes tightly on top of the cheese. Bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) with top/bottom heat for about 1 hour on the middle rack. Tater Tots is the brand name of an American frozen potato croquette, where tater is short for potato.
