Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 pack of dumpling dough, 750 g
- 200 g peas
- 200 g mushrooms
- 200 g cooked ham
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 25 ml red wine
- 300 ml vegetable stock
- 200 ml sweet cream
- 150 g cheese, grated
- 25 ml soy sauce
- salt and pepper
- Thyme
- Fat for frying

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Dice the onions, slice the ham, clean and slice the mushrooms. Sauté everything, add the tomato paste, and cook briefly. Deglaze with red wine. Add the peas, soy sauce, and vegetable stock. Finally, mix in the cream and season well with salt, pepper, and thyme. In the meantime, shape the dumpling dough into small balls (Knutschis) and place them in a baking dish. Cover completely with the sauce. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for another 10 minutes. A delicious and, above all, quick meal. We served it with tomato salad.
