Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g potatoes, cooked
  • 200 g wheat flour type 1050
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Salt
  • 100 g poppy seeds, ground
  • 50 g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp butter

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Potato noodles with poppy seeds

Peel the cooled potatoes, then mash or grate them. Add flour, egg, and a pinch of salt. Knead the dough with your hands, gradually rolling them out into sticks and placing them on a floured baking sheet. Add the Šulánky all at once to boiling salted water and cook until they float. Remove with a slotted spoon, sprinkle with poppy seeds and sugar, and drizzle with melted butter.
