Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes, peeled
- ½ cup milk
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 eggs
- 2 onions
- 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
- Caraway seeds
- nutmeg
- Salt and pepper, from the mill
- oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Grate the potatoes and onions. Add flour, eggs, and milk. Note: Use less milk depending on how much water the potatoes release. Season generously. Fry in oil. If the pancakes fall apart, add a little more flour and milk. The flour, milk, and eggs are only for binding; the mixture should not become too doughy. Variation: Add a dash of linseed oil to the pan. Serve with fresh chives.
