Fried Green Beans

For the dip, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, and garlic salt in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Boil the beans in water for 5 minutes, drain, and allow to cool. Preheat a deep fryer to 180 degrees C or fill a large pot with no more than 5 cm of frying oil. In a larger bowl, mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Pour the buttermilk into another bowl. Dip the beans in the buttermilk and then dredge them in the flour mixture. The beans should be completely coated with the flour mixture. Then, add the beans in batches to the deep fryer or pot with oil and fry for about 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the beans, drain on a paper towel, and serve warm with the dip.
