Chocolate Bundt Cake with Fruits, a recipe from Poland
Bring 2 cups of sugar and 250g butter (margarine) to a boil in a saucepan with 1/2 glass of milk and 5 tablespoons of cocoa powder, stirring constantly. Then let cool. Stir in the 4 egg yolks, 2 cups of flour, and 2 teaspoons of baking powder. Chop the fruit (as desired) thoroughly with a long knife. Mix in the raisins and/or almonds, etc., and be sure to add 1 teaspoon of rum flavoring. You can also use 2 teaspoons of rum. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form and fold into the batter. Pour the batter into a buttered Bundt pan (or a cake pan with a tube insert) dusted with breadcrumbs and bake in the oven on the second rack from the bottom at 160°C (320°F) for about 50-60 minutes. (Do the toothpick test!)
