Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 350 g flour
- 80 g hazelnuts, chopped, or walnuts
- 200 g honey
- 50 g margarine
- 50 ml milk
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 70 g raisins
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp orange peel, grated
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp nutmeg, freshly grated
- ½ tsp clove powder

Combine the honey with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves in a saucepan and heat gently for a few minutes. Combine the flour, baking powder, and vanilla sugar in a bowl. Then stir in the egg, milk, margarine, grated orange zest, raisins, and hazelnuts or walnuts. Finally, add the spiced honey and mix everything into a batter. Pour the batter into a loaf pan and bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 1 hour. The cake tastes even better served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
