Potato and minced meat casserole with Provencal herbs
Peel the potatoes and boil in salted water for about 20 minutes. Drain and mash with the milk and butter. Season with salt and nutmeg. While the potatoes are cooking, fry the chopped onion in a pan until translucent, add the ground beef and fry until crumbly, stirring constantly. Add the tomato paste and fry briefly. Add plenty of herbs and the dash of red wine. Season with salt and paprika. Place the ground beef in a baking dish greased with butter or margarine. Spread evenly with a spoon and then top with the mashed potatoes. Smooth down and sprinkle with cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes. If possible, set the grill function to broil for another 5 minutes.
