A simple carrot and apple salad – perfect with any dish! Raw vegetables.

A salad from my childhood. I still enjoy eating it today, for example, when I visit my grandmother. She usually serves a small dessert bowl of it for everyone as a side dish to the main course. It may be very simple, but for me it’s always an explosion of flavor. Peel the apple and carrots. Grate the apple coarsely and the root vegetables finely. Grate as finely as possible without making it mushy. Stir in the yogurt and season with sugar, lemon juice, and cream. There’s no salt or pepper in the salad! Let it marinate for a while. Important: Carrots must always be eaten with some fat so our body can absorb the carotene and convert it into vitamin A.
