Peanut butter slices

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g milk chocolate or dark chocolate
  • 150 g butter
  • 250 g biscuits (wholemeal biscuits)
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 300 g peanut butter with pieces
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

without baking, makes 16 slices

Melt the chocolate over a double boiler. Melt the butter in a saucepan. In a food processor or blender, grind the whole-wheat biscuits along with the brown sugar. Mix the melted butter with the biscuits and sugar, then add the peanut butter and vanilla extract. Spread the mixture evenly in a 20 x 15 cm baking dish lined with parchment paper and press down. Pour the melted chocolate over the mixture and refrigerate the dish for at least 30 minutes. Once the chocolate has set, cut the mixture into 16 pieces.
