Ingredients for 24 servings:

  • 230 g dark chocolate
  • 130 g butter
  • 140 g flour
  • some baking powder
  • some salt
  • 210 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

First, melt 200g of chocolate with 120g of butter and let it cool. Grate the remaining chocolate. Mix together the flour, baking powder, chocolate shavings, and salt. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Grease a cake pan (approximately 20x30cm) with the remaining butter. Mix the lukewarm chocolate mixture with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and eggs. Gradually add the flour mixture and knead everything into a smooth dough. Pour the dough into the pan and bake in the oven for about 25 minutes. Let the pastry cool and cut into approximately 5cm squares.
