  • 1 can of cod liver (120 g)
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 1 tsp dill, finely chopped
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 tbsp, heaped chives, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper

Drain the cod liver and reserving the oil. Mash the liver in a bowl with a fork. Dice the eggs and add them. Add the finely chopped chives and dill, crush the garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Mix with mayonnaise. Serve as a spread on bread or as a salad with mashed potatoes. Garlic and dill are essential ingredients in Ukrainian cuisine and appear in many Ukrainian dishes.
