Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 large meat sausage or soy meat sausage
- 2 apples (sweet)
- Cheese (Gouda)
- Mustard

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Sounds strange, but it’s delicious. Remove the skin from the sausage (the same for both types). Use a knife to cut a notch into it every 2 cm. Peel and core the apples, and cut them into thin strips (apple hens). Cut the cheese into thin strips as well. Then spread the notches with mustard, fill them with a strip of apple and a slice of cheese (leaving a little space between them). Bake in the oven at around 180 degrees until the cheese has melted. The soy version makes a delicious dinner, even for vegetarians.
