American Pancakes

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • e.g. maple syrup
  • 200 g berries (frozen)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

An American breakfast dream

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, eggs, salt, and milk in a bowl. Heat a little oil in a pan. Add the pancake batter in portions (about 2-3 tablespoons are enough) and form into a large, 3-centimeter-thick circle. Cook over medium heat until the bottom is golden brown. Flip once until golden brown. Drizzle with maple syrup and garnish with frozen berries. Enjoy warm.
