Goat cheese with honey

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 small cheeses (goat cheese), medium-aged
  • 8 tsp honey
  • 4 slice(s) American toast
  • 1 head of lettuce
  • pepper
  • some fruits (berries, grapes depending on the season)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Remove the crust from the toast and cut it diagonally. Place a slice of goat cheese on each slice, drizzle with a teaspoon of honey, and season with pepper. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake until the cheese begins to melt. This takes about 8-10 minutes. Meanwhile, wash and dry the lettuce and arrange it on dessert plates. Arrange two slices of toast on each slice and garnish with the fruit. I like to serve it with a dessert wine or a sparkling rosé.
