Fried Salmon on Mushy Peas

The perfect fried salmon on mushy peas recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Salmon fillet with skin
  • 500 g Tk – peas
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 80 ml Broth
  • 1 Organic lemon
  • 80 g Cream cheese
  1. Peel and chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Fry in a little oil for 2 minutes in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Then add the peas and the stock and bring to the boil.
  4. Simmer gently for 5 minutes with the lid closed.
  5. Wash the lemon warm and rub the peel with a grater, set aside and squeeze out the juice.
  6. In the meantime, wash the salmon fillet with cold water, pat dry, drizzle with a little lemon juice and season with salt.
  7. Fry the salmon skin side down in a pan for 3 minutes in a little oil.
  8. Then turn and fry for 3 minutes on a medium heat.
  9. Turn off the stove, cover the salmon with a plate and let it rest for a few minutes.
  10. Finely puree the pea mixture with the cream cheese, a splash of lemon juice and the lemon zest in a blender or with a hand blender.
  11. Finally, season with salt, pepper and lemon juice.
