Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 600 g pork
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 3 onions
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 bell peppers, green and red
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 750 ml meat broth
  • 250 g rice (long grain rice)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Heat the oil in a saucepan and brown the diced meat until lightly browned. Then add the quartered onions and the spices. Continue frying for 10 minutes, then add the tomato paste, the sliced ​​bell peppers, the quartered tomatoes, and the stock. Add the rice and cook over low heat until cooked through (approx. 20 to 25 minutes). Add a little more stock if the consistency becomes too thick.
