an American recipe for a 3.5 l Crock Pot / Slowcooker
First, the Coca-Cola BBQ sauce is stirred cold from the sauce ingredients. The prepared chicken wings are placed in layers (two layers in total, if possible) in the crock pot. Each layer is lightly sprinkled with salt and pepper and drizzle with a little sauce. Finally, the dish is evenly basted with the remaining sauce. Cover. The braise time is 3-4 hours on HIGH. Note: Barbecue enthusiasts reserve a few tablespoons of the sauce and braise the dish for only about 2 hours (half-cooked) until everything is nicely marinated and juicy. Brush the wings with the remaining sauce and gently fry over indirect, medium heat in the oven or on the grill until crispy. Flavor: Very spicy, slightly sweet.
