Cajun recipe for pasta as a sauce or as a main course with rice or baguette

Cajun seasoning is a spicy spice blend that keeps well in a sealed jar. Mix the paprika, chili, and Cajun seasoning, sprinkle over the shrimp, and let stand for 20 minutes. Peel the onions and garlic, slice the onions into thin rings, finely slice the bell peppers, and finely dice the garlic. Sauté in butter in a large skillet for about 6 minutes. Add the shrimp and cook over high heat until they begin to brown. Stir in the cream and simmer until the shrimp are cooked through. Sprinkle with parsley.
