- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 tbsp oil

Buttermilk Pancakes
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl and mix. Combine the egg, oil, and then buttermilk, then add all at once to the dry ingredients. Mix everything together until the batter is moistened (it will still be lumpy). Place the pancakes in a hot pan in approximately saucer-sized portions and cook until golden brown on both sides. Serve with maple syrup.
