Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g fish (matjes)
- 200 g butter
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp pepper, from the mill
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 30 minutes
a fish spread from Poland
Finely chop the herring. If necessary, add a little water beforehand if it’s too salty. Hard-boil the eggs and finely dice them. Knead everything with softened butter into a dough. Season with freshly ground pepper. Let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 day.
