French toast – American style sandwich

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 slices of toast
  • 3 slices of bacon
  • 2 slice(s) Scheibletten (processed cheese slices, variety according to taste)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 pinch(s) of salt and pepper
  • Fat for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Crack the eggs into a deep dish, season with salt and pepper, and whisk until fluffy. Dip both sides of the two slices of toast in the egg and place a slice of cheese on each soaked slice. Briefly fry the bacon in a pan and, when crispy enough, spread it over the cheese. Fold the two slices together to create a toast-cheese-bacon-cheese-toast sequence. Pan-fry this sandwich on both sides until golden brown, then enjoy!
