- 250 g Butter
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Salt
- 400 g Flour
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and lightly brown. Let cool down.
- Beat the browned butter with sugar and salt until frothy.
- Gradually add the flour and knead in.
- Shape the finished dough into rolls with a diameter of approx. 4 cm, roll them in cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
- Cut the rolling pin into approx. 0.5 cm thick slices.
- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
- Place the dough slices on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, do not let them get too dark.
- Let the biscuits cool down on the baking sheet. IMPORTANT!!!! On no account lift the biscuits hot, otherwise they would crumble. On the other hand, after cooling, they are solid.
- Of course, you can also pull the baking paper and the cookies off the baking sheet and place it on a kitchen rack to cool down.
