Melt the butter in a saucepan and lightly brown. Let cool down.
Beat the browned butter with sugar and salt until frothy.
Gradually add the flour and knead in.
Shape the finished dough into rolls with a diameter of approx. 4 cm, roll them in cling film and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Cut the rolling pin into approx. 0.5 cm thick slices.
Preheat the oven to 175 ° C.
Place the dough slices on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, do not let them get too dark.
Let the biscuits cool down on the baking sheet. IMPORTANT!!!! On no account lift the biscuits hot, otherwise they would crumble. On the other hand, after cooling, they are solid.
Of course, you can also pull the baking paper and the cookies off the baking sheet and place it on a kitchen rack to cool down.
