Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g butter or margarine
  • 75 g walnuts
  • 4 eggs
  • 175 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 100 g flour
  • 200 g chocolate coating, milk or semi-sweet
  • e.g. chocolate sprinkles, coconut or nut sprinkles

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Break the chocolate into pieces and melt with the butter over low heat; let cool slightly. Roughly chop the walnuts. Beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the chocolate mixture and fold in the flour. Add the walnuts*. Pour the batter into a square baking pan (approx. 20 x 20 cm) and smooth it out. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and bake for 20 minutes. While the brownies are cooling, melt the chocolate coating and spread it thickly over the warm cake. Once the glaze has set slightly, cut out about 25 cubes and decorate. *Special tip: Heat the walnuts with a little sugar and a pinch of cinnamon until they caramelize slightly. Delicious.
