Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp sugar, brown
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¾ cup(s) tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • chili powder
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Place the chops in an ovenproof dish, slice the onions into half rings, and fry. Add the sugar, lemon juice, and vinegar, bring to a boil, and pour over the meat. Mix all the spices with water and ketchup and pour over the meat. Cook at 200°C for about 50 minutes, basting with sauce occasionally. Serve with rosemary potatoes, French fries, or rice.
