Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large cucumber(s)
  • 200 ml balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 50 ml water
  • 1 sprig(s) dill
  • 2 pinches of salt
  • pepper
  • 1 tsp oil, neutral, e.g. rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Without milk / cream

Measure the vinegar and water into a measuring jug and dissolve the salt in it. Finely chop the dill and stir it in. Season with pepper to taste. The salad dressing should taste quite salty and sour. Peel the cucumber (or just wash it if you like) and finely slice it into a bowl, then pour the salad dressing over it. Stir well, ensuring all the cucumber slices are covered in the dressing. Drizzle with the oil (and don’t stir again). Let it sit for half an hour before serving.
