Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 2 eggs
- 125 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 200 g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100 ml milk
- 1 lemon(s), untreated, zest and juice
- 1 packet of lemon sugar
- 200 ml cream cheese
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine eggs, butter, sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, milk, and lemon zest to form a batter. Mix the cream cheese with the lemon sugar and lemon juice. Fill the greased muffin tins halfway with the batter, add a dollop of the cream cheese mixture, and cover with the remaining batter. Bake the muffins for about 20 minutes at 180°C (top/bottom heat).
