Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • Chicken, 2 boiled soup chickens, boned in large pieces
  • 4 tbsp vegetable oil (peanut)
  • 2 large onions, cut into small pieces
  • 1 red bell pepper(s), cut into small cubes
  • 3 clove(s) garlic, squeezed
  • 2 stalk(s) celery, finely sliced
  • 1 gr. can/n tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 1 tube(s) Tomato paste
  • 1 large can of mushrooms, sliced
  • 250 ml red wine
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder
  • Anise, ground
  • Maggi

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the boned chicken in hot fat until crispy. Remove from heat. Sauté the onions, bell peppers, garlic, and celery in the fat until translucent. Add the remaining ingredients, except the chicken and wine, and simmer for 30 minutes. Pour in the wine, heat through, and season to taste; you can add a little more spice if you like. Add the chicken, heat through, and let stand for 10 minutes. Serve with wild rice mixed with rice.
