American buttercream

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 230 g butter
  • ½ bottle of vanilla flavoring
  • 1 tsp cream
  • 450 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp syrup (corn syrup – corn syrup or sugar syrup)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

for piping roses and other cake decorations

Beat 230g butter until soft, then add 1/2 a bottle of vanilla extract and continue beating on medium speed. Now add 1 teaspoon of cream to the butter mixture and continue beating. Now add 450g powdered sugar and beat very slowly; lumps will form, but they dissolve very quickly. Finally, stir 1 teaspoon of syrup into the buttercream (I use homemade sugar syrup). This cream is perfect for piping roses and other cake decorations, as it stays firm for a long time in the piping bag. It’s also easy to color. But be careful, it’s really sweet.
