Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g pasta (spiral pasta)
  • salt water
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 zucchini
  • 1 small can of corn
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Thyme, dried, shredded
  • 1 tbsp oregano, dried, shredded
  • 1 tbsp basil, dried, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, black
  • n. B. Oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water until al dente (firm to the bite). Finely chop the onion and garlic and sauté in 2 tablespoons of hot oil in a large, high-sided pan (a saucepan will work in a pinch, but don’t put a lid on it!) until translucent. Add the ground beef and fry, turning occasionally, until crumbly and the water has evaporated. Only then season with salt and pepper. In the meantime, stem and seed the bell pepper and finely chop. Finely chop the zucchini. Drain the corn. Place everything in a bowl and mix with the tomato paste until more or less evenly combined. Add the mixture to the pan and toss with the ground beef. Season with 1 teaspoon each of paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and 1 tablespoon each of oregano, thyme, and basil. Mix the entire pan well and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, turning occasionally. Add the pasta, mix and season with salt and pepper.
