Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 200 ml sour cream
  • 80 ml oil (sunflower oil)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 bottle of rum flavoring or 2-3 tbsp rum or whiskey
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder, without sugar, for baking
  • 300 g flour
  • Chocolate sprinkles or flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Whisk the sour cream, oil, sugar, eggs, and rum until fluffy. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder and slowly add while stirring. Divide the batter evenly between a muffin tin or two nested paper baking cups. Sprinkle the muffins with chocolate sprinkles. Bake at 180°C (electric oven) for approximately 15-20 minutes.
