Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg smoked pork
- 1 pack of sauerkraut
- 1 pack of dough (dumpling dough)
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Cheese, grated
- Butter, for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
to prepare well
Dice the smoked pork and place it in a buttered casserole dish. Squeeze some of the sauerkraut and spread it over the smoked pork. Mix the dumpling dough with the eggs and cream, spread it over the sauerkraut, and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 170°C (convection oven) for about 1 hour until golden brown. Cover with a lid or foil for the first 1/2 hour.
