Add the cooking oil to the pan and heat to high heat. Add the finely chopped onions and season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Fry the onions until translucent. Add the bacon and fry with the onions. Once the bacon is browned and wavy, transfer the onions and bacon to a small separate pot and keep warm. Carefully form two burger patties from the ground beef. Place them in the hot pan. Sear for up to 5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the patties. Gourmets like to leave the meat a little browned on the inside, but this should only be done with high-quality meat. Turn the patties over and place two slices of Chester cheese on each patty. Cut open the two hamburger buns and place them, cut side down, on the cheese-covered patties. Briefly place the lid on the pan to caramelize the buns slightly. When the buns are shiny, remove the patties and buns from the pan. Now add barbecue sauce, onions, and bacon to the bun half without the patty, and place the patty on top. You have a delicious—but also substantial—BBQ burger. Of course, you can also use homemade or other sauces for the BBQ sauce.
