Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 125 g quark
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 250 g flour
  • 500 g onion(s)
  • 125 g bacon, diced
  • some oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 125 g cheese, grated (Gouda)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix flour with baking powder. Add 1 egg, quark, oil, milk, and 1 teaspoon of salt and knead everything into a dough using a dough hook. Roll out the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Halve the onions and cut into half rings. Heat oil in a pan. Add the onions and bacon and sauté. Season with salt and pepper and spread on the dough base. Whisk 1 cup of cream with 2 eggs and mix in the grated Gouda cheese. Season with salt (a little!) and pepper. Pour evenly over the onion and bacon topping. Bake at 200°C for 25 minutes.
