Spicy tofu with ginger

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 50 g tofu slices (Asian store)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 2 tbsp sherry
  • 1 piece(s) ginger, fresh, approx. 2 cm, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp oil (rapeseed oil)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Brush the tofu slices with sambal oelek and grated ginger. Season with salt and pepper and pour over sherry. Marinate for about 20 minutes. Heat rapeseed oil in a pan. Fry the marinated tofu slices for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Add the finely chopped spring onions and fry briefly. Arrange on two plates and serve immediately.
