Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 tbsp creamed spinach (frozen)
- 5 onions
- 8 garlic cloves
- 250 ml cream
- 250 ml water
- 6 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp, leveled flour
- 3 pairs of sausages (Wiener)
- salt and pepper
- nutmeg
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Peel the onions and garlic. Cut into small cubes and sauté in a saucepan with 1 tablespoon of butter. Add 100 ml of water and the spinach and let it thaw. Pour in the cream and the remaining water and let it simmer. Meanwhile, melt the remaining butter and stir in the flour until foamy. Then remove from the heat. Slowly mix the flour foam into the soup and let it thicken (if the soup becomes too thick, simply add a little more water). Bring to a boil. Now cut the Vienna sausages into pieces, add them and continue simmering. Finally, season with salt, pepper and nutmeg. Serve hot. Tip: If the soup is too thick, simply add a little more water.
