American recipe for Bounty bars

Cream the butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy, then stir in the flour, cocoa, and baking powder. Bake the batter in a 20 x 28 cm baking pan (or a 26 cm springform pan) for about 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius, then let it cool. Heat the milk, butter, and semolina until thickened. Stir in the sugar, desiccated coconut, and vanilla extract. Spread it on the chocolate batter. Heat the chocolate coating and cover the coconut mixture with it. Chill for a few hours. Cut into small bars—a substantial but delicious affair. Tastes almost like the real thing!
