Bread dumplings with a twist

Blanch the nettles and chop finely. Dice the onion and sauté with the crushed garlic in a little butter. Pour hot milk over the finely chopped dumpling bread. Then mix in the remaining ingredients and knead vigorously. Let the dumpling dough rest for about 15 minutes, then knead briefly again. With wet hands, form the dough into dumplings and simmer them in salted water for about 10 minutes. Nettle dumplings taste delicious with tomato sauce or meat sauce.
