Broccoli baked with cheese

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 2 slice(s) cheese, (butter cheese)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 13 minutes; Total time approx. 28 minutes

Bring a pot of water to a boil and add salt. Trim the broccoli at the stems and remove any tough bits, then cut into large pieces and add to the water. At this point, turn on the oven and preheat to 220°C. Meanwhile, let the broccoli cook for about 5-7 minutes. Drain and place on a baking sheet (preferably lined with parchment paper). Place the cheese slices on top of the broccoli and place in the oven. Bake for about 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted. Remove from the oven and serve hot on a plate.
