Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g beef steak(s)
  • 1 tbsp fish sauce (Nam Pla)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp, heaped ginger
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp onion(s), red
  • ½ handful of coriander
  • ½ handful of peppermint
  • 2 tsp Sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 egg yolks

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Finely chop the steak. Grate the ginger, finely chop the onion, coriander, and mint. Mix the meat, fish sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and onion. Add the lime juice, coriander, mint, chili sauce, and oil. Season to taste and chill for 30 minutes. Serve on two plates, each with an egg yolk in the center.
